Monique Law
Monique qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2010 from Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Her experience in Australia included working within the acute and rehabilitation settings in various areas of Neurology, Stroke & Neurosurgery, Spinal Cord Injury, Trauma, Post-surgical Orthopedics, Intensive Care, Critical Care and Emergency Department.
In 2015, Monique’s love for traveling brought her over to Vancouver where she continued her Physiotherapy career with Vancouver Coastal Health, specializing in treating the neurological population across the continuum of the rehabilitation spectrum at Vancouver General Hospital and the Intensive Rehabilitation Day Program at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre.
Monique joined the Neuro- Ability team in 2019 and currently splits her time between Neuro-Ability and the Acute Neurosciences unit at Vancouver General Hospital.
With a keen interest in the neurological population and the neuromusculoskeletal system, Monique has taken postgraduate courses in Australia and Canada to continue to expand her knowledge and skill set. In addition to completing courses focused on the Bobath concept, Monique has completed her Pilates Instructor Course, Introductory Dry Needling Course, Rocktape Taping, Vestibular and Chronic pain workshops.
Outside of work, Monique loves exploring the world through travel and keeping healthy by immersing herself in all things nature including camping, hiking, snowboarding and relaxing at the beach.
