Maddy Duerr

Maddy graduated from Lethbridge University in Spring 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During her time in Lethbridge Maddy took special interest in movement disorders and motor control while also completing a biomechanics course with focus on gait pathology. Alongside her degree, Maddy was also a member of the Lethbridge Rugby Club and participated in multiple Parkinson’s disease research studies in both the biomechanics and neuroscience labs. Maddy’s academic experience provides a strong foundational skill set upon which she will build when creating a program specific to your individual goals!
In addition to working as a kinesiologist at Neuro-Ability, Maddy also works part time as our receptionist. Her previous experience in this field includes reception positions at both Urban Athlete Fitness Studio and Cadence Chiropractic Clinic. Maddy prides herself on her ability to problem solve as well as her strengths in time management and communication. Maddy appreciates connecting with others and is eager to familiarize herself with each individual and do her best to make sure everyone’s needs in the clinic are met.
Outside of work Maddy loves to be active whether its running on the sea wall, resistance training indoors or a walk to the farmer’s market! She also enjoys baking, reading, and grabbing food with friends!
