Jen completed her undergraduate degree in molecular genetics at the University of Toronto in 2005. After a few years tinkering in research labs, she returned to school for a Masters of Physical Therapy from UBC, graduating in 2013. Since then, she has gained experience in a wide spectrum of clinical settings including inpatient rehabilitation, residential care and home health. The breadth of her experience has given her an understanding of patient experience at different stages of the healthcare system.

Jen has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and joined Neuro-Ability in 2017. She continues to pursue post-graduate education to strengthen her clinical understanding of neurological impairments and treatment, particularly focusing on vestibular and Bobath concept courses. She hopes to collaborate with clients to achieve their optimal functional mobility, allowing them to pursue the life they desire. Jen also works part time in home health to help clients remain safe and functional in their homes. She is fluent in English, conversant in Cantonese and happy to practice Mandarin.

In her spare time, Jen spends time with her loved ones and is often found gardening, testing new recipes or enjoying the beautiful outdoors of BC. If you are interested in the cuisine of Southeast Asia, Jen spent a considerable number of years living in the region and would love to share her passion for the kaleidoscope of food and intense flavours.
