Anika graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2026. During her time in post-secondary studies, Anika played collegiate soccer at Langara College, and was a Student Trainer for the UBC Women’s Soccer team. She authored and presented research studies at Langara College focused on training load and anthropometric markers in female athletes. Outside of academics, Anika was a Strength and Conditioning instructor at Diaz Combat Sports helping clients of all ages and abilities work toward their individual movement goals. 

Anika’s varied experience provides a strong foundation and a unique perspective on movement as medicine. She is particularly interested in adapting movement-based approaches to improve function, confidence, and overall quality of life tailored to each individual’s goals. Her experience working in reception at Diaz Combat Sports benefited her time management and problem-solving skills. Anika is excited to ensure everyone at the clinic is supported and welcomed.

Outside of work Anika spends her time training in mixed martial arts, playing music, and hanging out with her two cats.
