Madi Friesen

Madi graduated from Queen's University in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology. During her time at Queen's, she completed a strength and conditioning internship that involved working with varsity university sports teams to coach, assess, and modify exercise programs for their athletes. In addition to her degree, Madi also completed a certificate in disability and physical activity working one-on-one with persons with disabilities and special considerations to coach, create exercise programs, and facilitate goal setting in physical activity. Madi's experience will allow her to build a program specific to your needs and goals! 

In addition to working as a kinesiologist at Neuro-Ability, Madi also works part time as a receptionist. Her previous experience includes working virtually as a research assistant in a UBC lab Madi prides herself on her strength of skills in organization and communication. She enjoys getting to know each person on an individual level to help ensure their needs are fully met

Outside of work, Madi grew up with the love of playing both ice and field hockey, and went on to play field hockey for Queen's. She also enjoys travelling, going out with friends and family, hiking, reading, and crocheting.
